The Vice President of Retail Sales will lead and scale a national sales organization focused on direct originations and investor relationships. This executive will be responsible for driving geographic expansion, building high-performing teams, and executing strategies that increase market share, revenue, and client engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent the company at industry events to build relationships and strengthen market presence
- Own sales forecasting and budget planning
- Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing sales team
- Drive consistent achievement of aggressive production targets across product lines
- Foster strong relationships with investors, brokers, and referral partners
- Establish a results-driven culture with clear expectations and accountability
- Develop and maintain sales playbooks to support product, pricing, and strategy execution
- Monitor market positioning and identify opportunities to capture additional share
- Ensure consistent, high-quality client engagement and service standards
- Leverage marketing tools, campaigns, and digital channels to expand reach
- Partner cross-functionally on lead generation, conversion, and pipeline management

Qualifications
- 5+ years of real estate finance sales leadership (RTL or small balance commercial preferred)
- Strong communicator with proven relationship-building skills
- Solid understanding of sales processes, transactions, and lending lifecycle
- Experience with CRM systems and sales analytics tools
- Excellent time management and ability to meet targets
- Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and territory management skills
- Data-driven with ability to support prospecting and lead generation
