The Capital Markets Associate will be crucial in supporting and executing the company’s capital market transactions, including securitizations and whole loan sales. This position offers an exceptional opportunity for a driven and analytical individual to gain hands-on experience in complex capital market operations and directly contribute to the company’s strategic initiatives and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing securitization projects, including reviewing transaction documents, developing data tapes, and coordinating with internal and external parties such as rating agencies, bankers, and legal counsel.
- Participate in whole loan sale processes, handling detailed data and documentation requirements and engaging in buyer securitization activities.
- Support enhancing business intelligence reporting capabilities, utilizing extensive data from origination and servicing platforms.
- Facilitate day-to-day operations by liaising with various internal departments such as Accounting, Financial Reporting, Treasury, Servicing, Product Development, Sales, and Operations.
- Engage in cash flow and securitization modeling, providing analytical support to senior management for strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
- Demonstrated understanding of mortgage products, especially Non-QM loans, and familiarity with securitization.
- Proficient in advanced Excel and database management; experience with MS Access is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills, capable of discussing complex scenarios with executive-level leadership.
