National Sales Leader – Private Lending

The National Sales Leader will be responsible for leading sales culture, strategy, and recruiting across multiple channels: retail, wholesale, and direct-to-consumer. This role requires both day-to-day management and high-level strategic direction, ensuring the sales organization is aligned, scalable, and positioned for long-term success.
Responsibilities
• Drive the overall sales culture of the organization, instilling accountability, resilience, and collaboration.
• Develop and implement national sales strategies across retail, wholesale, and business development channels.
• Oversee day-to-day management of the sales team, currently ~30 professionals.
• Build and execute a recruiting strategy to attract and retain top sales talent, particularly retail loan officers and consumer-direct talent.
• Collaborate with operations, credit, marketing, and executive leadership to ensure alignment between sales and support functions.
• Partner with senior leadership to define long-term channel growth targets and ensure execution against strategic goals.
Qualifications
• 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in mortgage banking.
• Proven ability to lead and inspire a sales culture across multiple channels.
• Experience managing and scaling teams, ideally from running a large region or national sales function.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to design sales and recruiting strategies aligned to business objectives.
• Track record of attracting, hiring, and retaining top sales talent.
• Strong operational awareness to ensure sales execution aligns with fulfillment capacity.
• Experience with non-QM, RTL, or DSCR products.
