Our client is a privately funded real estate lending firm specializing in short-term, asset-based financing for real estate investors. The organization provides a suite of loan products, including bridge, fix-and-flip, and rental investment loans, supporting the acquisition, rehabilitation, and repositioning of non-owner-occupied residential and commercial properties.
The Director of Lending is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing commercial and business-purpose lending operations, driving production strategy, and managing the loan origination team. This position blends strategic oversight with engaged leadership, shaping market strategy, guiding originators, and enhancing lending performance across all channels.
This is not a frontline sales role; instead, it is a high-impact leadership position that strengthens the lending platform, builds institutional and broker relationships, expands origination channels, and drives disciplined revenue growth. The Director will set production goals, refine lending programs, ensure operational alignment with underwriting, and partner closely with executive leadership on long-term strategy.
