The Vice President of Servicing is responsible for driving strong relationships and excellence while overseeing and optimizing operations and customer service for the Company’s mortgage loan servicing department.
Ideal candidates for this position possess a broad array of experience with mortgage servicing, have a working knowledge of post-closing functions, and a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external clients and vendors.
Responsibilities:
·Oversee the servicing operations and customer service teams.
·Analyze performance metrics and implement continuous improvement strategies.
·Partner with consumer direct channel leaders, marketing, and our subservicer to plan and implement client retention strategies.
·Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, industry standards and internal policies.
·Oversee the relationship with the subservicer and relevant technology vendors.
·Oversee subservicer’s default management processes.
·Oversee quality control functions relative to subservicer performance.
·Oversee servicing licensing establishment and renewals.
·Manage escalated customer complaints/escalations including managing correspondence with oversight agencies and subservicer.
·Manage process for 1098 reporting.
·Stay abreast of industry trends and technology advancements to enhance operational efficiencies and effectiveness.
·Develop reporting and analyze the results to identify trends and make recommendations to prevent systemic issues, as well as to utilize for exams, reviews and marketing solicitations.
Qualifications:
·Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field required, or the equivalent combination of education and experience required. Minimum of eight years of broad experience within mortgage loan servicing and interim servicing required.
·Minimum of five years of management experience required.
·Minimum of three years of experience managing a subservicing relationship required.
·Experience with Black Knight’s MSP required.
·Experience with GNMA loans required.
·Experience with Encompass preferred.
·Experience with loan assumptions preferred.
·Knowledgeable with agency servicing guidelines
·Knowledge of document custody processes
·Knowledge of how loans are closed, funded and sold in the secondary market
·Knowledge of investor reporting processes
