This is a high-impact leadership opportunity designed as a successor to the current Chief Technology Officer. The role will take ownership of day-to-day technology operations, ensuring executional excellence across IT, infrastructure, and mortgage technology functions. This leader will enable the broader organization to scale efficiently while allowing executive leadership to focus on long-term strategy and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day technology operations across IT, security, and mortgage tech
  • Drive operational efficiency across systems, processes, and teams
  • Partner with executive leadership to execute the technology vision
  • Oversee vendor and third-party technology relationships
  • Manage a distributed team across infrastructure, support, data, and mortgage tech
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory exams, audits, and requirements
  • Champion a cloud-first, AI-enabled technology environment
  • Identify opportunities to improve scalability, automation, and user experience
  • Track KPIs to drive performance and continuous improvement
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and growth

Qualifications

  • Experience operating within a regulated environment (e.g., financial services, banking, life sciences) with exposure to audits and examiners
  • Proven leadership experience managing IT operations, infrastructure, and/or enterprise technology teams
  • Strong experience with vendor management and third-party technology partnerships
  • Deep understanding of cloud-based environments and modern infrastructure (Microsoft ecosystem preferred)
  • Familiarity with data platforms (e.g., Snowflake) and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI)
  • Exposure to mortgage technology platforms (e.g., Encompass) is a plus but not required
  • Demonstrated interest in and understanding of emerging technologies, including AI and automation
  • Strong organizational and execution skills with a track record of “getting things done”
  • High energy, intellectual curiosity, and a desire to continuously learn and evolve
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence across functions
