Leader of Finance

The Leader of Finance will oversee FP&A, Treasury, Accounting, and Accounts Payable while serving as a strategic partner to senior leadership. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for a finance professional eager to build structure, implement scalable financial systems, and provide forward-looking insight across a growing, credit-based organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead FP&A, including forecasting, budgeting, and scenario modeling.
• Manage liquidity, funding, and treasury operations, including repo lines.
• Oversee accounting and accounts payable for accuracy, compliance, and scalability.
• Track and manage fund and manager-level expenses with transparency and precision.
• Partner with leadership on financial forecasts, staffing models, and growth planning.
• Deliver insights to guide pricing, capital strategy, and credit risk management.
• Build financial infrastructure tools, processes, and reporting—to improve efficiency and decision support.
• Collaborate with Operations, Credit, and Capital Markets to align financial performance with business goals.
• Serve as a hands-on leader, initially managing day-to-day execution while developing a scalable finance team

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA a plus.
• 7+ years of progressive finance experience in lending, credit, or fund-based environments.
• Strong FP&A background with success in budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
• Deep understanding of treasury operations, fund flows, repo lines, and liquidity management.
• Experience managing fund and manager-level expenses.
• Knowledge of real estate lending (resi or non-QM) preferred.
• Broad experience across accounting, AP, and treasury.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills; capable of both strategic and tactical execution.
