Position Summary The Compliance Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with federal and state mortgage regulations. This individual will be responsible for managing HMDA data validation and edits monthly, preparing and filing Mortgage Call Reports (MCRs) and State Reports quarterly, submitting the annual HMDA filing, and assisting with Fair Lending assessments. Additionally, this role will support compliance operations by responding to inquiries through the compliance ticketing system and resolving issues related to Mavent fails and other compliance matters.

Responsibilities
•Manage and prepare Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) data collection, validation, and annual filing in accordance with regulatory requirements.
•Perform monthly HMDA data edits and corrections to ensure accuracy and completeness.
•Prepare and submit Mortgage Call Reports (MCRs) and State Reports quarterly.
•Assist with Fair Lending assessments, reviews, and analysis to identify potential risks, disparities, or trends.
•Conduct compliance testing using Mavent or similar software; research and resolve flagged issues.
•Respond to compliance-related inquiries submitted through the ticketing system; escalate complex issues as appropriate.
•Support the maintenance of compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls.
•Partner with operations, underwriting, and quality control teams to resolve compliance concerns.
•Stay current with evolving mortgage compliance regulations, including CFPB, HMDA, ECOA, TILA, RESPA, and state-specific requirements.

Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Compliance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
•Minimum 3 years of mortgage compliance experience with emphasis on HMDA and Fair Lending.
•Strong knowledge of HMDA filing requirements, Fair Lending regulations, and Mortgage Call Reporting.
•Hands-on experience with Mavent or other compliance testing software.
•High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•Ability to interpret and apply complex regulatory requirements to business operations.
•Excellent organizational and communication skills.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools; experience with Encompass loan origination system strongly preferred.
