Through its lending subsidiary, the company provides funding for residential transition loans and other mortgage debt products, combining institutional capital with disciplined underwriting and strategic execution. The firm partners with investors across mortgage debt, asset-based lending, and real estate strategies to deliver consistent, risk-adjusted returns.

The Closer is a key member of the operations team, responsible for managing the final stages of the loan process to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely closings. This individual will collaborate closely with title companies, borrowers, and internal teams to coordinate all aspects of funding. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities
•Prepare and review loan closing packages to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal and investor requirements.
•Coordinate with title companies, escrow officers, and internal departments to facilitate smooth and timely loan closings.
•Verify payoffs, insurance binders, wire instructions, and settlement statements before funding.
•Manage communication with borrowers and third parties to confirm timelines and resolve last-minute issues.
•Ensure all pre-funding conditions are cleared, and proper documentation is maintained.
•Input and maintain accurate data in the loan origination system and CRM.
•Collaborate with post-closing and servicing teams to ensure seamless loan transition and quality control.
•Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and borrower experience.

Qualifications
•3+ years of experience in loan closing, funding, or similar mortgage operations role.
•Experience with private or non-agency real estate lending preferred (fix & flip, bridge, rental, or construction).
•Proficiency in LOS platforms (such as LendingPad, Encompass, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
•Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
•Excellent communication and customer service skills.
•Ability to prioritize and manage multiple closings in a deadline-driven environment.
•Collaborative mindset with a commitment to accuracy, efficiency, and professionalism.
