The Chief Financial Officer is a key member of the executive leadership team and a trusted partner to the CEO. The role is responsible for financial strategy, performance management, and operational effectiveness within a complex, margin-driven mortgage business. The CFO will lead a modern Finance function that provides forward-looking insights and supports enterprise decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead FP&A, including budgeting, forecasting, scenario analysis, analytics, and executive reporting
- Advise the CEO and senior leadership on profitability, pricing, margin management, and operating efficiency
- Partner with production leadership on channel, branch, and product-level economics and incentives
- Oversee financial performance and reporting for mortgage servicing and related functions
- Lead and develop a multi-layered Finance organization (~35 professionals)
- Coordinate accounting, reporting, controls, and compliance within a public company and holding-company structure
- Drive modernization of finance processes, analytics, and decision support through cross-functional partnership
Qualifications
- Senior finance leadership experience in mortgage lending or related financial services
- Deep FP&A and executive reporting expertise
- Strong understanding of mortgage origination and servicing economics
- Proven ability to lead complex teams and manage change
- Balanced approach to governance, speed, and execution
