Business Analyst

This privately held mortgage finance firm specializes in non-agency lending, offering tailored solutions for originators and lenders nationwide. The company delivers innovative, borrower-focused products that address gaps in traditional mortgage lending.

The Business Analyst will operate as a versatile systems generalist focused on driving system implementations, process optimization, and automation across multiple business functions. This role is central to deploying new technologies, including a CRM platform, and enhancing integrations with Encompass and proprietary systems while working closely with vendors such as TPR firms, Zillow, and Ramac. The Business Analyst will collaborate with internal development teams and outsourced IT to build scalable infrastructure, ensure accountability, and translate operational needs into actionable technical solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Lead system implementations and optimizations, including CRM deployment and Encompass-integrated automation tools.
• Serve as a systems generalist with emphasis on Encompass while supporting multiple platforms, proprietary systems, and vendor integrations (TPR firms, Zillow, Ramac).
• Identify automation and efficiency opportunities in collaboration with business teams, leveraging AI technologies.
• Partner with in-house developers and outsourced IT (Renkata) to build processes, workflows, and technical infrastructure.
• Drive cross-functional projects, ensuring accountability and alignment across all stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and support UAT, rollout, and post-launch optimization.
• Maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders including internal leadership, development teams, vendors, and business units.
• Support continuous operational improvement through proactive problem-solving and system enhancement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3–5+ years of Business Analyst experience within mortgage or financial services.
• Experience with Encompass LOS; administration or configuration preferred.
• Familiarity with API integrations, data mapping, SQL, or reporting tools.
• Proven success leading cross‑functional projects, UAT, and system rollouts.
• Strong analytical, technical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Highly organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities.
